Dr. (Mrs.) Mobolaji G. Odeyemi, MBBS, FWACS, FMCOph is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience in eye care and eye surgery, with a special interest in glaucoma management. She is the Founder and Medical Director of Vision Capital Eye Hospital. She obtained her MBBS degree from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1998 and completed her specialist training in Ophthalmology at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). In 2009, she became a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and the West African College of Surgeons.
Vision Capital Eye Hospital operates three clinic locations in Lagos, where Dr. Odeyemi practices full-time. She has received both local and international training in glaucoma care and performs advanced procedures, including glaucoma drainage implant surgery, trabeculectomy, and laser glaucoma treatments. Her practice also includes cataract surgery, intravitreal injections, and comprehensive eye care for adults and children. She is a member of the Ophthalmological Society of Nigeria, the Glaucoma Society of Nigeria, and the Pan-African Glaucoma Association, and is deeply committed to preventing avoidable blindness and delivering high-quality, patient-centred eye care.
